Why You Should Stop Running Away From Your Problems

{ ❓ } – You Can Pretend Not To See It, But You Can’t Pretend That The Problem Is Gone

This article was originally published on The Tiny Wisdom.

There are times when we try to solve our problems by pretending not to have any problems. Just like when we feel that our nails grew too long, we don’t immediately clip them.

Until we realised that it gets more challenging for us to do our job. And sometimes, we even hurt ourselves in the process.

In hindsight, it is easier to have it that way. But in the long run, those problems will keep on coming back. Because they’re always there. You are just postponing what could’ve been done earlier.

Your problems may not affect you immediately. But what they do is to occupy a space in your mind. And once the space is full, your emotion, mood, health, and wellbeing might get affected.

It’s never easy to have that hard talk. Or to finish what we started. Or to say sorry for the things we did wrong. It never was and never will be easy.

Think about what’s the worst that could happen? You’re not going to die because of it, and it is not going to be the end of you.

So take your time to process, to grief, and to feel the emotion you have. And once you are done, remember to take a step forward.

It’s uncomfortable, but it is part of the process. In the end, those are what make us grow. That’s just how life works.
